Biography
Rick Jackson received a BA in Music Education from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has served in pastoral and church staff roles for over 30 years throughout the states of Texas and Hawaii. Rick is certified as a Prepare/Enrich facilitator, as well as a Family Wellness instructor. Rick has also received extensive training in Restoration Therapy and Marriage Strong presentations. With his lengthy background leading and working with church staffs, Rick specializes in speaking on church conflict resolution, church staff team building, marriage and family relationships, men's issues and spiritual formation.
Rick has been married to his wife, Vickie, for almost 40 years (he insists that they had an arranged marriage when they were 12 years old). They own and operate a destination wedding business located in Maui, Hawaii, where together they have helped thousands of couples "tie the knot" in paradise. With the completion of his MFT training, Rick states that "We now work on both sides of the 'I do's!'" Together they have three adult children. Each of their children are musicians and worship leaders in the southern California area. In between supporting their children in each of their worship ministries, they regularly attend the Rose City Church in Pasadena, CA.
